Congratulations to the junior high and senior high chorus students that represented Salisbury-Elk Lick in the Somerset All-County Chorus. The students rehearsed for two days at Somerset Area High School, and presented a concert for the public last evening.
The junior and sophomore classes are selling Krispy Kreme donuts and coffee.
Orders are due by Friday, December 13th
Pick up will be Wednesday, December 18th (just in time for winter break!)

Congratulations to Chase Blocher for receiving his Keystone Degree!
On November 8th,2024 the Veterinary Science students took part in a "Dogless" Show where they created life-size dogs and presented information regarding their selected breed to a panel of judges. As well as sharing their knowledge of K9 anatomy.
Best in show went to Sidney Hutzel with her Bassethound.
Honorable mentions went to George Hilliard with his Chihuahua and Nicholle Hilliard with her Dutch Shepherd.
On November 14, 2024, the Veterinary Science students traced to SCTC for the Somerset County FFA Fall Skills Career Development Events. 21 Students participated in the Veterinary Science CDE. Salisbury placed the following:

School will dismiss at 1:15 pm on Wednesday, November 27 for Thanksgiving Break. School will resume on Tuesday, December 3.
On Saturday, November 16 two members of our eSports team traveled to Bethany College. While there Preston and Joe were able to meet the eSports coach, play with the team, talk with an enrollment counselor, and take a tour of the college.
Military Banner Program:
The Salisbury- Elk Lick Leo Club along with the Salisbury VFW Walker Harris Post 8826 and the Salisbury American Legion Earl H. Opel Post 459 are excited to launch a tribute banner program that allows our community to honor their loved ones who have served, or are still currently serving our country.
Order forms can be picked up at the Salisbury American Legion, Salisbury VFW, Elementary School Office, or High School office. ALL ORDER FORMS ARE DUE BY JANUARY 20, 2025 to the SEL High School Office.
Last evening the 33rd Annual Somerset County All-Star Volleyball Banquet was held in Central City. 31 athletes from 9 different schools were honored. Salisbury-Elk Lick had 2 athletes selected for this year's banquet, Taylor Short and Bethney Channel. Taylor was selected for 2nd Team, and Bethney was selected for Honorable Mention. Congratulations to both Taylor and Bethney!
