Our FFA chapter will be collecting food until April 24, 2025, as part of the state and county efforts. . Food can be dropped off at the Ag room or given to any Elk Lick FFA member to bring to the Ag room.

Congratulations to Nolan Easton on his successful audition at District Band which was held at Bellwood-Antis High School on January 23 and 24. Nolan will advance to the Regional Band Festival on March 5, 6, and 7 at Altoona Area High School, where he will audition for placement at the state level. Way to go Nolan!!
Congratulations to Lance Jones for scoring 1,000 career points! Lance reached this milestone Friday evening while Turykeyfoot played at Ferndale. Great job Lance!
Congratulations to Nolan Easton for being selected to represent SELSD at the West Virginia University Honor Band!
The West Virginia University Invitational High School Honor Bands is a two-day event for high school band students. Selected students are placed into one of three clinic bands based on a brief audition held at the beginning of the event. These bands rehearse throughout the two days of the clinic and present a final performance on Saturday. In addition to working with outstanding nationally-known conductors, students are treated to a performance by the WVU Wind Symphony and also have the opportunity to participate in masterclasses offered by members of the WVU School of Music faculty.

Over the last few weeks, our Little Dribblers have been working hard to develop their basketball skills. Last evening, they had the opportunity to show off all they've learned. A special thank you to our Boys Basketball players for their dedication and support in helping the Little Dribblers build confidence and improve their skills!
