On April 22, 2025, students in our agricultural programs hit the road for their annual Industry Tour, thanks to generous sponsorship from Career Link and Tableland of Somerset County!
Students had the incredible opportunity to explore a variety of local businesses and learn about the many paths available in agriculture and related industries:
Cleveland Brothers CAT gave students an inside look at their facilities and shared valuable information about their apprenticeship program.
At Lockheed Martin, students learned about the increasing demand for skilled workers in manufacturing right here in our region.
The day wrapped up at Trinity Farms Center for Healing, where students discovered how agriculture can also grow people and communities. As a nonprofit farm, Trinity Farms redefines what it means to be “ag-based,” focusing on healing rather than just crops and livestock.
A big thank you to each of our host sites and to Career Link/Tableland for making this meaningful experience possible!
On April 25, 2025, students in our agriculture programs proudly represented our school at the Somerset County FFA Spring Skills CDEs and Leadership Development Events hosted at SCTC!

These careers included lending, IT, marketing, and financial analysis. The purpose of this event was to help these future employees gain interest in careers within the banking field. Somerset Trust Company also sponsored a letter find that lead students to the word FINANICIAL, and an ice breaker game to get to know the eight different employees STC sent out to invest time in our students!
