***Attention Pottery Party Participants:
Due to a broken heating element, our kiln is currently out of service 🙁
The part has been ordered and is expected to arrive soon.
However, we might not have the mugs fired before Christmas break.
The Art Club thanks all those who participated and apologize for the delay.
We will get the mugs fired in the kiln as soon as it is repaired.

The kindergarten class learned how to successfully transition between activities this past week as part of Mrs. Easton's Classroom Counseling lesson. The students practiced transitioning between different play areas, starting to clean up when there was 2 minutes left on the timer, and returning to their seats when time was up.
Here is Preston Brant at his play area of choice. He made a shape picture of him and Mrs. Easton.

Santa Shop Vendors are open until 2pm today in the Borough Building.
Senior volleyball player Olivia Shunk was selected to play in the Somerset County Senior All-Star game, which was held on Wednesday, Nov. 22nd at Conemaugh Township. Congratulations Olivia!

The Leo Club held a Food Drive in the month of November. The elementary classrooms were encouraged to bring in canned goods that would be donated to the Salisbury Family Center and the Meyersdale Food Bank. The classroom that brought in the most food items would win a pizza party! The Leo Club collected over 700 food items to be donated. Some of the Leo Club members are seen here with Amber Hutzell from the Salisbury Family Center.

Thank you to the Johnstown Tomahawks for stopping by to read to our 3rd and 4th graders.

Six Salisbury-Elk Lick band members participated in the Somerset County Band Festival on November 29-30 held at Berlin Brothersvalley High School. A public concert was held at the conclusion of the two-day festival.
