Dear Salisbury – Elk Lick Families,
Social media and phones have changed our world in an extraordinary way. Some of these changes are wonderful and have improved many aspects of our lives. Others have presented new problems and dangers. As adults with busy lives, we don’t always know what apps are out there that our kids are using and what those apps encourage or what the side effects of using them are. On Thursday, September 28th at 6:00 P.M., we have the pleasure of introducing you to Ryan Klingensmith of Shape the Sky. He will give a free presentation on what youth culture online looks like today and what to be aware of as a parent of one of those kids. Please join us in the elementary school health room for this invaluable opportunity to gain insight into a world that has become such a huge part of our kids’ lives.
