The kindergarten class learned how to successfully transition between activities this past week as part of Mrs. Easton's Classroom Counseling lesson. The students practiced transitioning between different play areas, starting to clean up when there was 2 minutes left on the timer, and returning to their seats when time was up.
Here is Preston Brant at his play area of choice. He made a shape picture of him and Mrs. Easton.

The elementary classrooms were encouraged to bring in canned goods that would be donated to the Salisbury Family Center and the Meyersdale Food Bank. The classroom that brought in the most food items would win a pizza party! The Leo Club collected over 700 food items to be donated. Some of the Leo Club members are seen here with Amber Hutzell from the Salisbury Family Center.
