A few messages from our Elk Pride Parents
Yesterday, some of our High School students volunteered to help with the Shop-With-A-Cop event. The students helped facilitate games, wrap presents for the shoppers, and spread some holiday cheer!

Progress Reports will be sent home today with students in grades 3-12.

Students will be dismissed at 1:15 PM on Friday, December 13, 2024 for Curriculum Assessment.

A message from the School Nurse: With cold and flu season among us, if your child becomes sick at school and needs to go home due to illness, please have a plan in place for arrangements to pick up your child when the school nurse calls. Please remember that your child must be fever free ( less than 100F) for 24 hours without fever reducing medication (Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen). Your child must also not attend school if they have vomited or had diarrhea in the last 24 hours. Please feel free to call(ext 6508) or email (motchenbaughj@selsd.com) the school nurse with any questions or concerns.
On Wednesday, Mrs. Shafer took her Veterinary Science 2 class to visit Cheat Lake Animal Hospital.

SELSD will be closed today. Santa Shop Community Night will be rescheduled for tomorrow evening 12/6 from 4-7 at the Borough Building.

Congratulations to Taylor Short and Ava Hummel for being selected for volleyball WestPac, and Taylor was also selected as 2nd team for All-District 5.
