Cosette

Something that I have been working on over the past few years is my involvement in PMEA chorus festivals! It’s been one of my favorite things about high school. I am so glad to be closing out the year with PMEA! Each festival requires me to learn music selections for the audition process. I then submit my best rendition of the pieces for judging. Upon acceptance, I then work for several weeks to study the guest director’s choice of music for the performance. In this, my Senior year, I have put countless hours into learning music of all kinds, from Beethoven to Mendelssohn, and everything beautiful in between. I have been given the honor of working to proceed through the audition/performance process all the way to the All-State choir this year! I performed in the District chorus in February and the Regional Chorus in March. I am looking forward to performing as part of the All-State Chorus at the Poconos in the beginning of April! Of course, none of my amazing experiences would have been possible without the faithful support of my director, Mrs. Lori Sines. She encourages me every step of the way and always celebrates with me! I am privileged to include such amazing experiences with PMEA in my high school memories.
