Grading Policy: cumulative or total points
Assignments are graded based on the number of questions or requested information. Labs and projects have rubrics with specific guidelines. Tests and quizzes may be made up of a variety of formal assessments. Homework may be graded based on accuracy of answers or participation.
Writing Assignments: All writing assignments are to be written in complete sentences with correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. (Do NOT "text" me...)
Late Assignments: Completing assignments on time is important to the flow and progress of each course. Many of the skills we learn build on each other, and the student can not move forward until the tasks are met.
All grades become a zero if not turned in. Students are able to make up the assignment, but it must be completed before the midpoint grades or end of the 9 weeks.
Tests & Quizzes - Students are allowed to retest within a week if below a 90%.
