Grading Scale

Grades are broken down into the following categories. Each category will be an accumulation of points that are weighted as shown:

Tests                      50%

Quizzes                  30%

Homework & Classwork           20%

Homework can be turned in late up until the day of the Unit Test for half-credit.

There will be no re-takes for tests.

Quizzes can be retaken one time if the student scores below 70%. However, the student may not use class time to re-take the quiz. It needs to be taken during a study hall or homeroom. Students are to arrange a time to re-quiz.

If a student is absent, they have one week to turned in/complete missing assignments. After one week, the student will receive a zero. It is the students responsibility to inquire about missing work.
