about me

My name is Mrs. Melissa Easton, and I am the Elementary School Counselor at Salisbury-Elk Lick Elementary. I received my bachelor's degree from Liberty University in Religion: Christian Counseling with a minor in Psychology. I graduated with my master's degree in School Counseling from Liberty University in December 2021. I am excited to work with all of our students in the school district, and look forward to meeting you! Please don't ever hesitate to reach out!

Classroom Lessons: I visit each classroom every 6 days for a counseling lesson. We learn about feeling, self-regulation, self-esteem, listening and following directions, friendship, cooperation, and many other topics

Small Groups: I facilitate small groups related to friendship, familial change, feelings, grief, social skills, self-control, and other topics.

Short-Term Individual Counseling: I meet with individual students about things that are happening in their lives inside and outside of the school.
