GRADING PROCEDURES:

Your final average will be an average of homework grades, test grades, and quiz grades.

HOMEWORK: All assignments are given a due date. They are expected to be turned in on or before that date. All assignments turned in late shall be graded in the following manner.

On time 100% of score on assignment

1 day late 75% of score on assignment

2 days late 50% of score on assignment

3 days late 25% of score on assignment

4 or more days late 0%

Exceptions:

**Any person not turning in the chapter review questions the day they are due will receive a 0% for that assignment.

**Any person whose book is not covered on the days they are checked will receive a 0% for that assignment.

TESTS: Tests will be given at appropriate times throughout the year. Most tests cover only one chapter. I reserve the right to give unit tests, mid terms, and finals which will cover all material to date. These bigger tests will be assigned more points than normal chapter tests.

QUIZZES: Each chapter will include one vocabulary quiz. Other quizzes may also be given at appropriate times. Most quizzes will be announced, but I reserve the right to give “pop” quizzes.

ABSENCES: Any person missing assignments, tests, or quizzes due to legal absences shall be allowed to make up that work.

FINAL GRADES

FINAL GRADE IS EQUAL TO: (HOMEWORK AVERAGE + TEST AVERAGE + QUIZ AVERAGE) / 3
