    9/1 Description: Normally a class for 12th grade student, due to the mathematical skills required. Students learn about the theoretical and practical applications of classical and modern physics.  The specific state standards addressed are (1) forces and motion of particles and rigid bodies, (2) energy storage and transformations, including conservation laws; (3) heat and heat transfer, and (4) electromagnetic energy and light. This course concentrates on concepts with hands on activities and mathematical problem solving.
