  • As you know the Governor extended the school closure period to April 6.  In an effort to provide some continuity in education, our teachers have put together work packets for students.  These packets will be available for pick up for grades K-8 on Thursday, March 26 from 9AM to 12PM.  School personnel will bring the folders to your vehicle.  The elementary pick up point will be in front of the main elementary doors and the high school will be at the Tech Ed Shop doors.  Students in grades 9-12 will be receiving work through their email, unless otherwise requested.  This work is to keep students engaged in learning during this time.  Student work will be due 3 days after we return to school and no student will be penalized for not completing work during the time of closure.  Teachers will be reaching out by email and will be available by email during the times designated in our Flexible Instruction Letter which is on our website, along with this call message.  Thank you and have a good evening.

During the Governor’s statewide directed closure of schools, the Salisbury-Elk Lick School District will be providing meals to students.   The meals would be available at four designated pick up places:  the doctor’s office in Salisbury, St. Paul Church, Boynton Church, and the Springs Church. If you are interested in receiving meals for your school age child, preK-12th grade, please call either the elementary or the high school office to let the secretaries know how many lunches you will need and which pickup location you will be utilizing. The numbers are 814-662-2733 – elementary office and 814-662-2741 – high school office.
